6 Gifts Ideas for a Tween Girl

Many people think that teenagers can be hard to work with, and this is true of tweens as well. Girls between the ages of 10 and 13, who are also known as tweens, can be tricky. They aren't full-blown teenagers, but they are no longer little kids. Their tastes are somewhere in between, too. They want to be grown-up, but they still have a bed full of stuffed animals. Buying them a present can be a challenge, but it is not impossible.

1. An Adventure: Tween girls are just starting to spread their wings and test themselves. Take your tween to a trampoline park, indoor skydiving, or a ninja warrior course. Do it with her and have fun. Going on an adventure with her helps create awesome memories, too.

2. Moonchild Hoop Earrings: Unicorns are passe. Rainbows are yesterday's news. Moons, however, are hot with tweens right now. Things like moonchild hoop earrings or any kind of jewelry with moons and celestial objects on them are sure to be a hit. 

3. Cell Phone Grip: Chances are pretty high that if the tween you are buying for has a phone, then they have a selfie stick. What they may not have and definitely need, however, is a phone grip. If you are unsure of what this is, phone grips are small attachments that suction cup to the back of a phone for easier handling. They come in cute colors and with different design options. If in doubt, you can never go wrong with glitter when shopping for a tween girl.

4. Karaoke Machine: If the tween in your life loves to listen to music, give her the opportunity to sing with her friends. A karaoke machine is only uncool when parents try to use it.

5. Hoverboard: If you are a generous gift giver and can afford a hoverboard, it will be well received. Pretty much every kid on the planet wants one. You may want to check with their parents first, though. 

6. Gift Cards: If you have too much anxiety over the choices out there, you can always go with a gift card. Many tweens love to shop. Some people may cringe at the idea of giving just a gift card, but many others love them.

You can't go wrong with any of these ideas. Shopping for tween girls is not as hard as it may initially seem.
